ABSTRACT

The goal of this study was to assess the welfare serviceneeds of elderly people who used to visit the senior welfare center.The sample consisted of 85 females and 82 males who resided inthe southeastern area in Korea. The respondents reported that themost favorable programs from the center were related to eitherrecreation or health. They told that the most difficult problem inattending those programs was the transportation. Most of therespondents were satisfied with the contents and quality of theprograms in the center.
